Job Description: Call Center Representative

As a Solar Call Center Representative, you will play a crucial role in Solar Garden USA's mission to transform the nation's energy infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential customers via phone calls to educate them about the benefits of solar energy and qualify their interest in solar installations for their homes. You will be part of a dynamic team that focuses on lead generation, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads for our sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers from provided leads.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, building rapport and trust.
  • Educate customers about the advantages of solar energy and the benefits of choosing Solar Garden USA for their installation needs.
  • Assess customer's eligibility and interest in solar energy through effective questioning and active listening.
  • Provide accurate information about the solar installation process, incentives, financing options, and other relevant details.
  • Document customer interactions and update the lead management system accurately and promptly.
  • Schedule qualified leads for further consultation with solar specialists or sales representatives.
  • Follow up with potential customers to nurture leads and maintain a positive relationship.
  • Meet or exceed established call volume, quality, and conversion targets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and solar policies to provide accurate information to customers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certifications in sales or customer service are a plus).
  • Proven experience in a call center or customer service role.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional phone demeanor.
  • Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience working with CRM software.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with solar energy and the renewable energy industry is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
